Jack and the GiantOnce upon the land of Far Dúne, there ruled a Duke and his son. The Duke was selfish and greedy but Jack did not inherit his father’s ways. He was a selfless, giving boy and was disliked by his father for it. The people disliked the Duke as their leader and revolted against him which resulted in the Duke and his son living miserably on a farm with nothing but an old cow that couldn’t provide anything for them.Jack and the Giant by Tomsworld642
One day the demoted father grew tired of nothing to eat and ordered Jack be on his way to risk being caught and sell the cow at the market. On his way, a tramp spied the cow and desired it for his supper.
The tramp asked,” ’ow much be thee cow?”
“What will you give in return?” replied Jack.
The tramp reached into his sleeve and pulled out three beans.
“These ‘ere beans will give yea all the gold in the world. They’re the last of em.”
“Why haven’t you used them then?” asked Jack as he handed t
The EscapeThe palaces of the dead are the prisons of the living, thought Mykál as his shackle bonds were released. Mykál looked his captor in the eye with bitter disgust as he stood to full height. The Escape by Tomsworld642
The man was a shaggy man, his eyes were sunk in, shirt torn and his pants were torn at the cuffs.
“Come, let’s get this over with.” said the captor with a grim face.
Mykál retorted to the back of his cell were a still figure lay on the floor covered in blood.
The captor came into the cell and grabbed the man and pulled him out with considerable force as he whispered harshly.
“We wouldn’t want another death in this cell, would we?”
Mykál’s muscles tensed at the word death.
The captor gave a chuckle as he led his prisoner down the corridor.

TonightTonight by MissWay17
As I stare tonight into your eyes,
I see the premises of falling skies,
My downfall or my rise,
My beginning, until my last goodbye.
I see the life that was brought to me,
And through this fate, finally be free.
You were my whole, my eternity,
The light I held on to through difficulty.
I contemplated your smile and tears,
I found myself wishing to be yours, and fear,
As I carried on this way, and followed your path,
I wasn't losing myself for something that wouldn't last.
Endlessly dreaming of what could be true,
I still keep the secret hope to ever see you...

He looked into the boxes, some half-crumbling from the humidity in the building, and tried to count the cans of beans, squash, tuna, and chicken, the boxes of dried mashed potatoes and pancake mix, the jars of jam and the plastic containers stuffed to the rim with homemade biscuits. A lone can of corn had rolled away from the rest, perching sadly on a crack between two of the imitation marble tiles of the floor. Charlie grabbed it without even looking and stuck it in another box. Apparently the one it had come from had crumpled completely.Escape by Andaelentari
“Do you know how horrible my headache was this morning, Charles?” Maria had asked him earlier, before he had even fully woken up. “It was worse than you could even imagine, I’m sure.” She did this every day, woke him up with a somatic complaint, but she managed to convince him t
